While in the literature, we observed that the antimicrobial action of benzofuran derivatives appears to be much more dependent on substitution with the heterocyclic furan ring than on substitution on the aromatic moiety.60 Telvekar and co-personnel investigated a number of benzofuran-three-carbohydrazide derivatives and screened for his or her pros
